I was thinking what would be the best way to do this pure actionscript?

if i use a sound’s .position could i create events to be called when the sound hits that position?

i.e. when the sound position = 2500 miliseconds, do the following tween?

Any ideas or thoughts or links to other threads is greatly appreciated
