# Tables to css

I found a template that turns tables into css. This is the template:

.table {font-size: 1.2em;  
display: table;  
background-color: cyan;  
border: solid-thin;}

.row {display: table-row;}

.cell {font-size: 1.2em;  
display: table-cell;  
background-color: yellow;  
border: solid-thin; }

My question to you is how can I apply this template to my existing table row of links and turn my row of links from table into span?

I have tried it, but the font size in span, either increased or decreased from the original.

And sometimes, some links went below existing links.

I want to keep the existing font size, and to keep it all eight links in one row.

Please help.
