# Target swf from external text file

I have searched the forums, but still couldn’t find what I’m searching for.

Does anyone know how to target a swf from an external text file?

All my swfs are externally loaded. Some have dynamic text loaded within, and I would like to use links to my swfs from within the dynamic text itself, so visitors can load a new swf in the main movie.

I’m using transitions, so my buttons and external swfs have code to tell the movie to play before a new movie is loaded in the container (in the main movie)…

In the dynamic text, I would like to have an \<a href\> tag that loads a new movie in the container.

Any advanced coders out there?
