# Targeting swf with html?

Hello everybody,
This is my very first post and I have a confusing question. I am building a site right now and I am using ‘external text mx’ component in my flash file. I would like to write some html (or other) code that would load a swf to a specific spot on the same flash page as my external text. I am not sure how to go about this or what kind of scripting is even necessary to do it. Any help in the right direction would be great.
