heya

im pretty new to flash, only been using it about a week and a bit, and am a little lost with targetting and wondered if anyone could help.

i’ve got a movie called **‘main.swf’** and in it is an empty mc with instance name **‘loc’** which loads an external swf called **‘photo.swf’**.

if i have a variable inside ‘photo.swf’ called **‘ABC’** am i right in assuming to target it from main.swf it would be:

**"\_root.loc.photo.ABC"**?

somehow i get the strong feeling this isn’t right
