Has anyone used templates from [www.templatemonster.com](http://www.templatemonster.com) before? I need to find out how easy it is to buy a template and then connect up an ecommerce package to the template. Has anyone done this? If so, what ecommerce package did you use? So many options my head is spinning:sen:

Would appreciate any feedback on this…thanks superG

Let me try and be a bit more specific…I have been looking into oscommerce as an ecommerce solution, but am not sure if oscommerce is compatible with a WorldPay gateway. has any one faced this particular issue yet and what did you do?

Just to warn you ahead of time that osCommerce is a pain to customize. It doesn’t have a template system like you think it would.

I am looking at the admin section of one right now and this is what is shows as payment modules:

[Authorize.net](http://Authorize.net)
Credit Card
Cash on Delivery
iPayment
Check/Money Order
NOCHEX
PayPal 0
2CheckOut
PSiGate
SECPay

There are lots out there.

[http://www.xt-commerce.com/](http://www.xt-commerce.com/) (although it is written mostly in german - it’s a templated branch of osCommerce)

[http://www.icdevgroup.org/](http://www.icdevgroup.org/) – this one looked really nice, imo nicer than most of the free carts, but it is written in perl, so if you don’t mind running a cgi cart this one might be a good option. Don’t know about the supported payment plans, haven’t looked at it that much.

I have not installed any of these, but they seemed the best of the free carts, next to osCommerce. If osCommerce would do a complete rebuild and integrate a template it would still be great, but it’s kind of falling behind, imo.
