Ok, so this is way over my head and I need to learn fast.
I’m curious as to wether tessellating shapes in flash is doable. This will be only quadrilaterals. The idea is to create a zooming gallery (silverlight-esque) where the older an item is the smaller it gets.

The smallest piece of advice is welcome.
Thanks.

p.s. It doesn’t have to be neat or aligned to a grid. So I may just use some sort of [physics based thing](http://www.flashwonderland.com/box2d-physics-collision-detection/contact-listener-1.html) and allow a bunch of shapes to fall together.
