Hey Kirupas,

I’ve started playing around with AIR desktop apps lately (this was the most appropriate forum section I think) using the Flash IDE. I’v been making an RSS reader, which I think looks pretty cool for now 😃

But anyway, I opened up my files again today to begin working on them some more, making a few changes here and there, I kept testing it with Ctrl + Enter and it was all going fine. But then for no apparent reason the testing stopped working. I would hit Ctrl + Enter (does the same if I hit “Test Movie” from the toolbar), it would give the little loading thingy saying its exporting SWF file as normal and then… blank. :puzzled:

Basically its all going fine except when it finishes the exporting, nothing shows. Its not because of a certain change I made because of course I went back and undone all changes but it made no difference. Strangely, if I export it as a Flash Player document, rather than an AIR document, it works fine. Even more strangely if I publish the AIR file and install the application, its fine there too :puzzled:

Anyone got an idea of what could be going wrong here? Cos I sure don’t…

P.S Do you think that AIR 2.0 will have an easier way of getting rid of taskbar icons? 😛
