so I’ve this very strange (or maybe it isn’t that strange at all, but to me it is) problem:

I’m working an a macbookpro and I use flash 8 with the help of parallels on windows. in flash 8 I work with files inside this shared-folders, that can be accessed by windows(parallels) und mac os x. this folders are actually network folders…

but, if I work with this files in flash 8 and then try to test them inside the IDE I always get the same error for obvious reasons. the error tells that the file couldn’t be opened:

```
ActionScript Code:
[FONT=Courier New][LEFT][COLOR=#0000FF]Error[/COLOR] opening [COLOR=#0000FF]URL[/COLOR] [COLOR=#FF0000]"file:////.mySharedFolder/folder/anotherFikder/myFile.swf"[/COLOR]
```

[/LEFT]
[/FONT]

it’s pretty obvious, that it won’t work, because flash is trying to open the file as if it resides locally (file:////). is there any possibility to tell flash, that this is a file wich should be opened over the network???

has anybody the same experiences with this kind of workflow-problems?

pleeasssseee…I really don’t get it alone… :cantlook:
