# Text background highlighting in as3

I’d like to highlight certain words in a textfield by setting the background of the text to be yellow. As far as I know there is no way of doing this with standard textfield. Or is there?

Otherwise I’m planning on extending the textfield class to get what I want. Perhaps someone has done this already and is willing to share?
