# "Text effect" script error, please help :)

Hello,

I’m new to actionscript in general, I do know a little.

I found a text effect done in Flash 5, exports fine with Flash 5 settings, but when exported to Flash 8 actionScript 2, I get a “mismatch error”…

I do realise that scripts have evolved from version to an another, but I don’t know enough to correct the problem, please help.

I would like it to play in Flash 8 player with actionScript 2 settings.
