# Text effect with tweened masks

Does anyone know an online tutorial for this?
I tried it, and am having some strange experiences with it?
There must be a trick to it.

I am not sure what that is (smile).
I am trying to make a paragraph of text,
display from top to bottom. Starts at the top
and slowly unveils the rest of the paragraph.
I took a block and made it into shape tweened mask.
And it works “kind of”.
I simple shrunk down the block from top to bottom,
and then added a tween.
It seems to work perfect, then text disappears after the effect.

You have to make sure that your mask is still there even after the tween, if not it won’t show the text because there is no mask.
