Hi,
I was wounder if someone could help, I’m really stuck.
I have a master swf that has my navigation so when you click on a button in the navgation onter swf gets load in a difrent leveal so the nvagtion stays in place,ok. My problem is that when i load a page that has a text field the .txt doc will not load, but if i test the movie on it’s own the text loads. This is the script That i used on my page with the text field. Should i be putting a script in my master swf? The one with the navigation.

The name of my .txt file = ourhistory.txt
The Var is… ourhistory=
The text field is called = TextFrame
stop();

var scrollDirection:String;
loadVariablesNum(“ourhistory.txt”,50);

this.scrollDown.onRelease = function() {
TextFrame.scroll += 1;
}

this.scrollUp.onRelease = function() {
TextFrame.scroll -= 1;
}

I also tryed this on the timeline of the swf with the text field, but this didn’t work at all.

loadText = new LoadVars();
loadText.load(“ourhistory.txt”);
