ok, little problem…what I want to do is to have a scrollable text box automatically load text from an outside .txt file. I read up on a tutorial about something similar, but it involved a stationary textbox and a couple of buttons. The way I have it set up, the text box comes up only on a certain section of the site. I figured if i could get it to load a .txt file, it would make updating news and whatnot a lot faster.
Anyway, if anybody can help out, or point me to a tutorial/thread that will, I’d be thankful.

Maybe I’m not following you right but it shouldn’t matter where or when the text box appears. The process is the same for loading dynamic text. :h:
