# Text mask not working

Hi, hoping someone can help me. I am trying to do some text effects by using a text mask but I can’t get the mask to work. I can successfully mask a circle over a rectangle, and even mask a rectangle over text, but text over a gradient rectangle just doesn’t work - I end up with the rectangle moving across the stage, but no text mask. Am I just missing something, or is this a bug in Flash? Thanks for any suggestions.
