# Text on BTN\_mc's

Following problem has bin on my mind for a while:  
I have created an MC button and want to use many instances, so I only need to change the design once and have all others adapt (since their linked). Now I need to have different text on each button\_mc. Since I obviously don’t want to break the link for reason stated above I need to know the way to customise the text while keeping the rest of the instance intact.  
This to me seems like a common scenario so whats the most effektive way to accomplish it? Do I use a text area in the button and then assign the text to this text area for every instance??

Any advice urgently needed
