# "Text Scroller" tutorial problem

I need to add a text scroller to a dynamic textbox which gets populated from a text file.

I couldn’t get the scroller component in MX working properly so I turned to trusty Kirupa. I followed the tute but it didn’t work for me. I downloaded the kirupa tutorial source as a test… I could do a control\>testmovie on the tutorial files and all is well until I have the dynamic textfield populated by a text file via loadvariablenum… The scrollbar component seems “ghosted” kinda. Help?
