# Text-tool & constricting the text

Hello, i’m very new at using Flash and i started a couple of days ago.  
I’m currently in the making of a flashcard program for Japanese studies and so far it’s been going smoothly, until now.

The thing is that i want a descriptive text on the left side of the scene so i used the text-tool to add some text, now, i want the area that the text can be shown in to be of a certain size (150x460) so i changed the W&H properties of the text-block, to my surprise the text scales with the W&H settings so now i got a very ugly looking text, so my question is, can i change the size of the textarea without scaling the text?

Maybe im using the wrong tool to do it, i don’t know but please tell me if this is the case, thanks.
