Nevermind that all I want to know is how do I put text in a movie clipw see I use inputtext call it name than I turn it into a dynamic text still call it name put it in a movieclip but now the name is not there.Does anyone know something?Or can it be done?

input text is a variable, that will take its value from somewhere else…
like this:
text = “Hi and Bye”; or text = 2_5_2-5\*4-1+0-0+0-0+5+6;
or
text = Math.random(); to get a different number everytime…

> I don’t understand: you have an imput text (normal), you turn it into a dynamic text (no longer an input text) and THEN you put it inside a movie clip? What for? And it’s normal that the name isn’t there any mre, because it is the name of the textbox, not the name of the movie clip.
But please explain better.
