# Textfield as a button

If we create a textfield and convert it to a button, the hit area of that button is the text only---- only if you have fonts other than \_serif, \_sans, and \_typewriter. With these fonts, the hit area is the entire textbox.  
For any other font, the hit area is the text.  
Can anybody explain??
