# Textfield problem within movieclip

Hi!  
I belive this post should belong to F8 :huh:  
I have a textfield that i convertet to a symbol (just because i can change alpha :S )  
anyhow, now im struggeling with this movie problem.

If my button still is on \_root and movieclip (“postram”) with my textfield are on the same place, what am i missing in my AS that it wont post my text ?

It was few years ago i last used as so my memory has failed me ☹

EDIT: Problem solved, had forgotten that \_parent must go in var-field of tF
