# The best way to wipe my system clean

Okay it is about that time to format my machine(s). My question is what is the best way to do this so I start off with a clean slate? Is there a utility or something that is best to use? Or a method? I am in the process of backing up my files and when that is dont I want to begin…Any input appreciated.
