Well for those who don’t know NYC is having a **really bad** rat problem. Bad enough where you can walk in certain places in NYC and the Bronx and see literally 50 or 60 on a block, and no I’m not kidding. It was on the news and in the paper going back a few months when the weather started to get really warm.
Now my neighborhood is infested as well. They are all over the place, in yards, garbage, and even under people front steps. So far we’ve been lucky, I haven’t caught any around my house, but I know they are here.
I think im going to sit outside later with my trusty bb gun, and shoot away.
Either that, or it’s really time to move.

edit: this article stats that for every 1 person in NYC there are 9 rats!! **a rat population of about 70 million**

dude i totally noe what u are talking about. i have seen worser (if dats even a word) places. back when i used to live in india it was like hell, almost every day there would be dead rats at places. it was nasty man.

mmmm…ratburgers…I mean, that’s so disgusting. Ewww. I think the only solution is get about 10 million cats. Hopefully, each cat will catch about 7 mice, and that should end that problem. I’m sure nobody will complain about there being too many cats!

well i heard japanese people created much more better mouse traps. cuz they have mice there too. i read it in an article. i forgot where. but they have very ineresting ways of gettin rid of them

Kirupa, if you only knew…
The rats are no joke, just as big if not bigger then your average house cat. I’m not kidding…
Most cats I don’t think would even be able to take out these rats.

## Beware, rat populated area
is what most train stations read in the city, i think Penn station has to be the worst, you see about 12 when waiting for the iron horse.

the town could afford a giant piece of cheese and place on an island in a big vulcan. once the rats are on the island the bridges get destroyed and the rats are captured :thumb:

evacuate the area and drop a nuclear bomb on it.
most of the rats will die and surviving new 5 meter rats will be much easier to hunt [size=1]…except maybe those in the subwaysysthem[/size]
