I have been scouring forums looking for a solution… I know this has probably been answered a thousand times… I am a former flash dev that has not really used it for a few years and the AS3 stuff is killing me… I have been getting this error on someone else’s work that I am trying to port in and load from and external source. Mind you I am porting a bunch of external clips with no issues at all however this one is giving me the finger constantly no matter what I do and what solutions I try; Error I get: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at com.chamberlainp.game::BasicEngine/addEngineListener() at com.chamberlainp.game::BasicEngine() at com.chamberlainp.game::GameEngine() at com::SumoPandas\_Games/initializeGame() at SumoPanda01\_Matching/initializeGame() at com::SumoPandas\_Games() at SumoPanda01\_Matching() Cannot display source code at this location. Anyone’s help would be greatly appreciated.
