hey folks, I’m designing a site for my band and I have the site layout done but I’m stuck on ideas for page transitions and spicing up the menu etc. any ideas?

I know what you could do. You could get a ‘real’ host so that if you want to be taken seriously you don’t have pop up banners that annoy everyone (aka , I just got annoyed by looking at your site because of some ‘free coupons’ ad)!!!
If you are a band, and are serious, take the time to invest in a paid hosting company. It is well worth it and trust me, you can find sites that offer TONS for little money. I know that you can get a domain name, hosting with 5gigs a month and 500megs of space for 25 bucks a year! And it’s reliable too! :sure:
Just look on the net you’ll find some sites.
Besides that, take a look at flashkit, or here to find inspiration, just don’t blatently rip off someone. Heck EVEN IF YOU DO, at least let them know that they were the inspiration… and give them tons of Count Chocula cereal.

We don’t have that here in this part of US of A. GOTTA LOVE THE DRY AZ HEAT!!! :crazy:

thanks for the feedback. I know I really should get some proper hosting, I’ll just have to persuade the others to chip in.
I didn’t consciously try to rip anyone off, but I’m quite interested that you said that, can you be more specific?

Nothing is there but tons of popups and some text that says launch the.driven

I can’t get on the site… I keep getting a runtime error.
If you can’t get a paid domain and hosting right now, I recommend Tripod. They still have banners/pop-ups, but not as much.

Same here, I couldn’t launch the site with your flash button! Yea, those ads are ■■■■ annoying, almost suicidal lol.
