# The "e" thing

I’ve noticed that some websites have an icon to the left of their website url. For instance, [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com) doesn’t have one. But google does (it’s a swigly “g”). What’s the name of that thing. Is it something you do in flash or in dreamweaver after you import your flash swf?
