I might be wrong here but sodomy is illegal in the US, and I know many other countries have similar laws, isn’t it illegal in scotland also…  
Since the guy has reason to believe they might engage in an illegal activity, as they only have one bed, I feel he has every right to refuse service.  
poof and bent, are slang words for homosexuals, much like gay or queer are

isn’t sodomy illegal only in certain states? Anyhow, it looks like an old-age-pious-to-the-bone law, that doesn’t fit the image the US is trying to uphold (with or without Bush…)

Well said.  
Sure, use your right to refuse business to whom you please **BUT** no one has the right to tell anyone what they can do privately and consensually behind closed doors ( within reason)
