On the Robert Penner site,

in the menu WHERE / FLASH FUN you’ll see ( sorry no direct link) a [COLOR=blue]poetry machine. [/COLOR]  
[COLOR=black]I wonder what is the name of this effect and what I have to "study"to learn this ?[/COLOR]  
I also wonder if there could be some problem of pixelisation ?
