# This is why I F\*\*\*\*\*\* hate IE6

Can anyone suggest why [http://nuweb.northumbria.ac.uk/restyle2007/index.html](http://nuweb.northumbria.ac.uk/restyle2007/index.html) works in anything standards based, like IE, safari, Opera, in fact even IE7,…

…but simply displays like a heap of kak in IE6. I know it should work, cos I built it with validation in mind here, but when I plugged the url into ie6 my jaw just dropped…

any help at all would be great, but I’ll understamd if everyone just back s out of the room with a concerned look of horror :{
