# Threads and Flash AS3

Hey.  
Like the title says im curous if theres any type of threading in Flash AS3.  
If i make a mc and place code in that, that would happen at the same time as the main timeline, so thats one way of doing it. But if i want to keep all code in external files ( as much as possible atleast ), how would i do it then?
