# Thumbnail Scroll Easing

i used this tutorial a while back for thumbnail scrolling but i was never able to figure out how to make it ease. Can anyone help me? Any advice would be appreciated.

Here is my AS

panel.onRollOver = panelOver;

function panelOver() {
    this.onEnterFrame = scrollpanel;
    delete this.onRollOver;
}

function scrollpanel(){

        this.onRollOver = panelOver;
        delete this.onEnterFrame;
    }
    
    if(panel._x>= 14) {
        panel._x = 14;
    }
    
    if(panel._x<= -514) {
        panel._x = -514;
    }
    
    var xdist = _xmouse - 400; 
    //lower number is faster and higher number is slower
    panel._x += -xdist / 20;
}
