# Tiled Background

Hi

I followed [a tutorial](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/duplicatebackground.htm) on on this site to have a tiled background. While the background of a 16x16 image tiled perfectly, it doesn’t allow anything placed on the stage to show up. Now I can see only the tiled background while text and images placed on stage do not appear when I see it in broweser or flash player. Does anybody know of a wayout?
