Hi everyone,

I’m doing some rollover controls for a video project. Does anyone have any tips / brilliant solutions for doing this? The main problem is that having a new MC (such as controls) come in over the hit area of the video overrides the hit area, so when you mouseover the controls, the onRollOut function is executed. Originally I solved this by making a second hit area around the original hit area that covers the entire stage, and putting the original onRollOut code into this new hit area’s onRollOver code. Know what I mean? It works, but it’s bulky and inelegant, and it seems like there must be a better way. Reply if you know what I’m getting at … thanks guys!
