# To publish or not to publish in flashplayer 7

Hi,  
up til now I have published my sites in Flash player 6. Why not in 7? Because I didn’t need it and thought that there may be a lot of people who didn’t install 7 yet.

Now I am building a site in which I like to use a feature only available for Flash Player 7 (MovieClipLoader.onLoadError). I could to without that feature but it would give me a problem to work without it that I can’t seem to solve.

So now I have strong doubts:  
publish in 6 with more accessiblity, less flash detection screens, less attractive/functional site  
publish in 7 with less accessibility, more visitors confrontated with flash detection screens , and a better going site.

The target group for the site is 18-20 years, people who like pop music and film (news , reviews etc).

I know I must make this decision myself, but I just wondered how you feel about this, and if you think my doubts are legitimate.

By the way, are ther any stats on which player people have installed?
