I think that for some reason (I haven’t done the research) he has his head up King George II’s butt!

I agree with majeye and rev, regardless of whether or not you like Bush/Tony, they do seem to be alike.

Well, he _seemed_ like a nice guy at first, but well yeah he’s bush top buttlicker if you see what I mean…
It’s a pity because it was one of the first politicians to really make the link between the UK and European Union (as well as bringing in the euro), but Irak discredited him and now a more ‘nationalistic’ guy is to be elected for the next elections (and I bet he’ll feel like being even closer to bush jr)

He is a ‘career politician’ version of bush… he dosent stutter, he is not afraid off attention, and do you guys notice, very charismatic and when he and bush are together He ALWAYS saves Bush when Bush is too dumb to come up with an answer… but he is equally full of crap!
He did seem okay, but screwd up in the end

Most people have been saying that Blair is just like Bush, but I disagree. While I disagree with them both I couldn’t say that I dislike Blair, whereas I dislike Bush… This is because Blair is eloquent (ya i can’t spell), he can articulate is points and he doesn’t insist on using such terms as “evildoers.” I would deffinatly say that Blair is more of a “compassionate conservative” although no conservative is a good one in my opinion… which of course is a humble Canadian one.

Lepiano, the reason Blair is not like that, its because Blair, unlike bush is a creer politician, he can make things l **look** good, but its the same in the end.

That is true, infact I meant to point out that another difference is that Blair is a good politician, Bush is not so good (although still better than Gore, who screwed up royaly). And while I know that Blair is being sly or creer, in some ways isn’t it better to have a leader who is a good politician, no matter what their stance is, even if they aren’t as decent as they try to seem? Dealing with other countries, knowing how to give good speeches, these are key things, and Blair is much better at them than Bush.
