I think Sharif is just stating the main award sites whereas Moluv is more of design ezine websites that give sites awards, more like mentions. There are also others like PlasticPilots or Visual Designer. You can view StyleStation’s splash and see the awards out there.

Are you joking? Have you being to Dope? I find it sarcastically that you guys would think Dope is not a good awarding winner. Of course PP is not worthy but i was just adding to the list in the context of award giving not the best out there.

I just happened to stumble onto this thread thru google:)
I am the owner of DOPE Awards, and would like to add that I DO NOT give awards to just anyone, ask the other 1000 or so submissions I have recived over the last month or so:) DOPE is not here to simply give anyone an award, its here mainly to promote established as well as up and coming designers from around the world, hopefully they will make a few bucks through my DOPE award project!!

I have seen some pretty wacked sites sporting a dope awards. Unless they just peeled it and put it on their sites. But I would not put dope up there with a bombshock, but I will be watching your awards to see how things look from now on

You have to take into consideration that there is an E for Effort section in DOPE Awards, this section is for people with not so much talent, therefore the award is based off of there hard work and EFFORT:)
and yes you are correct, Dope awards is not as respected as ultrashock, fwa, etc, but eventually it will be:) I have big plans for this project in the future, but for now its simply a place for people to become inspired and enjoy a few good works from designers all over the world!!

personally i feel the Dope award E is actually offensive, its sorta like “i like your effort, you dont make it, but here, if it makes you happy”. Actaully, its really offensive, why isnt it just like:
