Hi
I´m trying to trace an imported video (.mov), but the option to trace it isn´t available. What is missing?

You can only trace a bitmap (.gif, .jpg etc) to my knowledge. You wouldn’t be able to employ the Trace Bitmap function on a movie. People, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I think your only other option is to hand trace…

There’s a way to get the individual frames from a movie, right? (I don’t know). What you could do is once you get the frames, set up photoshop to automaticaly run the cut out filter, and you’ll get the same effect.

If the move has a high enough resolution hit print screen… and past the image into photoshop…re-import it and then trace it.

import all the frames into Flash file\>import. Then select all the frames click the onion skin button “edit all frames” then trace bitmap.
