Well I see it all the time but now I cant find an example…

Ever see how people will make a trace of light go around the outline of a shape?

I know how to do the motion etc… but I can seem to make the little trace of light look correct…

Anyone know how everyone does this?

thanks

THANKS MAN!

I get it… I was making it to hard!

You just draw a line in whatever pattern you want…

Then mask the line… and tween a basic gradient across it…

Thanks again

Your welcome, there are tutorials dotted about on this but they tend to make it look harder than it actually is.

ahhh… will try… thanks…

also, I see you used shape tweening… any reason you did not just use motion tween to send the graient across the screen?

thanks so much for your time.
