# Transition to next scene

I have been working on this effect and after it plays, I would like to have the text fade out and then transition it to another scene so I can do something else with it.
I have attached the fla file.

Hey, this might be what you emailed me about, but either way, you can check out this thread I left here a while ago. I still don’t know if it’s the right way to do transitions, but no one has told me otherwise, and it works like a charm, so, read this:

That won’t help, sorry. I thought the transition was the problem. I should really learn how to read. (-:
Anyhow. I looked at the fla and I understand what you meant now. I worked on it some and embeded the font outline (which makes it possible to fade dynamic text), but I couldn’t get it to work. I did a test to see if I’m doing it right, and I seem to be (as shown in this fla). I guess I’m having a problem targeting the text. I’ll keep trying though. In the mean time, look at this fla, you may come up with it before me.
