I am new to this AS and I have a project which is complicated (well at least for me) I can think of a long and tedious way of doing this but I know AS is the way to go.
I have to do a transition in flash between 3 still images the images are divided in to squares and the squares appear one at a time until it reveals the new image, but I want the squares to appear randomly each time that image shows up… :puzzle:

Welcome to the forums! 🙂

Have you seen Voetsjoebas tutorial on the fading grid? You can find it by [clicking here](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/fadegrid.htm). This one has the image fading in in rows but maybe you could adjust the code to have it done randomly?

Might be a start anyway. Good luck!
