Hello everyone,

I have followed [Kirupa’s tutorial on this](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions.htm) and works great! The problem begins when I made a “stop” action right before where the midframe=“framenumber” is declared, it won’t play the outro animation anymore and it also makes the main buttons fail to work after putting it there.

But when I remove it, everything works as it should.

I am puzzled by this. I don’t know why it shouldn’t allow me to put other functions and animation right before that. If I don’t have that “stop ();” action before it, my movie will continue to play until frame 78 and I don’t want that.

example:
\*\*
section3.swf\*\*

Action of first frame of the .swf to be loaded

midframe=78

on frame 65

stop (); (which is needed because there are other buttons that should jump around other frames before the midframe)

on frame 78

stop ();

and on the last frame of the animated .swf

\_root.shell.loadMovie(\_root.currMovie+".swf")

Thanks so much.
