# Transitions between external swf tutorial issue

Hi,  
This is my first post…so let me know if I should be doing something different!  
I have been working with this tutorial ¨Transitions between external swfs¨ from [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com). I downloaded the zip and then tried to modify it with my own external swfs…worked fine as long as the swfs I swapped in were simple.:thumb: But when I tried it with swfs that included galleries or any other kind of interactivity it seemed to break down. Made me wonder if I need to modify something additional when working with these kinds of slightly more complex swfs…:puzzled:  
Does anyone have an answer for this? I can post what I am doing if that helps…
