# Transitions between external SWFs - Movieclip button

Hi, I’ve got nice movieclip buttons, but also I would like to build my site like in “Transitions between external SWFs” tutorial on [Kirupa.com](http://Kirupa.com) ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions2.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/transitions2.htm))

The problem is, that everything works if I use normal button, but SWFs don’t want to load when I use the movieclip buttons.  
The problem is in this code:

on (release) {

if (\_root.currMovie == undefined) {

\_root.currMovie = “o\_mnie”;  
kontener.loadMovie(“o\_mnie.swf”);  
} else if (\_root.currMovie != “o\_mnie”) {  
if (kontener.\_currentframe \>= kontener.midframe) {

\_root.currMovie = “o\_mnie”;  
kontener.play();

}

}

}

I have to assign these things to my movieclip button, but this code works only with normal button /on (releasese)/… and I have no idea how to deal with this… movie clip button’s instance for this example is o\_mnie\_bt
