# Transitions?

ok so I have this problem which I am sure everyone has had at some point in their webdesigning lifespan.
Basically my first page has a list of buttons like the list below:
about me
photography
product design
contact me
when you click, about me the site the other buttons slide down and in between is an area where there is text like below:
about me

| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| |
|\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ |
photography
product design
contact me
ok so now I want to make it do one of two things, the latter being much harder and a bigger headache. When you click another button like photography I want it to either:
a: slide the “About me” section back closed then have the photography section slide out.
or
b: as the “photography” section is sliding open the “about me” section is opening"
so how do I script this so I don’t have to have a million and 1 transition sequences for each possibile click?

try using symbol in symbol animation… here’s an xample,

these are all symbols inside eachother, maybe you can make an menu of it… give it an try

RvGate, that’s a nice example, but it would help a lot more if you provide the FLA. Would you happen to have that? You can post it here because I’m sure it would come in handy to a lot of people. =)
