# Transparency and special characters / weird problem

i have a simple mailform that i’ve been using for years - never any problems  
for a friends site i want the mailform to be loaded into an empty mc.  
everything works !  
**BUT**!!!  
i am **not** able to use the @ character  
whatever i do the input field shows a q

1. i’m using trebuchet MS which has the @
2. i tried embedding / not embedding / device font even textmarker and ballpen ,-)
3. when i test the swf **it works**
4. when i publish it embedded in html **it works**
5. only when i load it into a movieclip **it does not work**

same result locally or on the web  
problem under opera - ff- ie -safari (so obviously not a browser issue)
