krilnon, that’s because CDATA sections are specific to XML documents and are unsupported in HTML. Where they are supported, [CDATASections are text nodes](http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-3-Core/core.html#ID-667469212). See for example, this XHTML Strict document:
