# Triple Head System

My CS teacher gave me an old LCD monitor today that he thought was broken. It’s a little blurry, but I can live with it (escpecially for free =)). The problem is I already have a dual head system (2 monitors on one nVidia GeForce FX 5500). I had to unplug one of my other monitors to get this one plugged in.

I want to go buy another video card to plug this monitor into. Will three monitors work? Do I need anything special?

It doesn’t matter to me whether it works under windows or linux, I have both; but I want to know if it will work on at least one of the two.
