# Trying to build an image holder with preloader

Hi there,

I am trying to build a project at the moment that requires me to have an image loading in. I want to load an image using the loader component, however I want to build it into a movie clip because I want to reuse it for different images within my project. What I want to do is show a progress bar before the image loads in. I can get the image to load in but if I simulate the bandwidth then it doesn’t use the progress bar to show it downloading.

Can anyone help me out, I wanted to upload my file but due to the ridiculous file size of only 78kb allowed on Kirupa I can’t!
