# Tweaking Claudio's scroller

Hello,

I am referencing Claudio’s scroller for this:

I need to make the scrollbar and arrows invisible when they aren’t needed (when height of text is short enough to not need the scrollbar).

I have found several posts that answer this question for the mx scroll component([http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=192999&highlight=scrollbar+visible](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=192999&highlight=scrollbar+visible)), using the “scroll” and “maxscroll” code, but those don’t seem to work with this scroller.

Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
