# Tweaking "Displaying XML Data in Flash" tutorial

[COLOR=darkorange]I have read kirupa’s “Displaying XML Data in Flash” tutorial and have tweaked this particular example for my own situation and got it to work. I want to add buttons that pull up the XML data when pressed rather than just displaying the data on runtime.[/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange][/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange]To extend the analogy:[/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange][/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange]I want to put data for each “inventor” in a separate XML file.[/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange]I want buttons for each “inventor”. For ex., when I click on the Thomas Edison button, it pulls up the XML data for him, and so forth.[/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange][/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange]I tried to put the AS within the on(release) section for the button (in frame 1), and it would not work.[/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange][/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange]I am expanding the example in this tutorial for my needs to include many buttons and many “inventors” in the Flash movie.[/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange][/COLOR]  
[COLOR=darkorange]What do I need to change in the tutorial to make this work?[/COLOR]
